Banking and financial services organizations have unique challenges when it comes to open source software. They operate in a strict, highly regulated environment and handle huge volumes of highly sensitive data. Open source can speed innovation and development velocity, as well as deliver substantial cost savings — but in today’s threat landscape, how can companies in this space enjoy the benefits of OSS without exposing their customers to risk?
In this special industry-focused event, experts from Perforce Software will share how banks and Fintech organizations, from startups to large enterprises, can take advantage of all open source has to offer while meeting security and compliance requirements.

On December 12, OpenLogic by Perforce will host a live panel discussion on open source opportunities and obstacles specific to the financial sector, featuring Perforce Software’s Jeff Michael (Senior Director of Product Management), Tim Carroll (Director of Product Development), and Omar Lara (Senior Solutions Engineer).

- How banks and Fintech can mitigate security risks while deploying open source
- Regulatory and compliance hurdles to OSS adoption in the finance sector
- Cost-effective strategies for Big Data management and data sovereignty
